The on switch
Disruptive Records is an independent record label founded by Ivo Adelaar in Amsterdam. It works with electronic artists on repertoire, releases and long-term development.
Ivo leads the label and sets the wider company strategy. The work combines A&R judgement with clear systems, so the team can spend more time on artists and the records themselves.
Technology is used on the operations rather than on the art: the analysis underneath the catalogue, the repetitive administration, and the software the label now runs on.
