The direction
Genre tells you what a record sounds like. Not what it is for.
The long-term work is to build direct, lasting relationships with artists and listeners, and a definition of progress broader than streams. The labels remain the core. Everything around them has to make those relationships stronger.
The evenings
Small seated evenings: an artist at the opened piano, an audience close enough to hear the pedals, twenty-three seats at most. Sometimes in our studio on the Admiralengracht, sometimes out in the city, like Coffee + Piano at Bouncespace. We host them ourselves, with the label team, every month since July 2024.
